A truck drove into a minibus at full speed in Dagestan

A tragic accident occurred in Dagestan on the morning of September 29 2022, involving a KAMAZ truck with failed brakes. The truck collided with a Gazel minibus carrying 14 passengers and two other oncoming vehicles. The impact was severe, causing four fatalities at the scene. Eight others were rushed to the hospital with injuries, but sadly, one more person succumbed to their injuries later. The suspected cause of the crash was a brake failure, which led to this devastating incident.

The truck driver, believed to be responsible for the accident, also died. According to witnesses, he realized his brakes had failed while descending a steep slope. In a desperate attempt to warn others, he continuously honked his horn, signaling the danger ahead. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, the crash was unavoidable, resulting in this heartbreaking loss of life.
