
In a tragic incident in Rajasthan, an ATM guard named Harish Jhangad was brutally beaten to death by a group of thieves. The event occurred on June 9, 2016, in the Jhunjhunu district, where Jhangad was on duty at a State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur ATM. The assailants, who were masked, attacked him while he was asleep, delivering severe blows that left him unconscious. Jhangad was later rushed to SMS Hospital in Jaipur but succumbed to his injuries on June 14, 2016 .
Following the incident, local authorities promised to assist Jhangadโs family, including providing employment for his wife and covering the educational expenses of his children . This brutal attack sparked outrage and highlighted concerns regarding the safety of security personnel at financial institutions.
