In a shocking incident captured on video, Ramón Sánchez, also known as Niño Guerrero and the leader of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, was gunned down by hitmen in Colombia. The attack took place around 9:15 am in the San Antonio de Pereira neighborhood of Rionegro, specifically within a shopping center in the Los Alpes sector.
Security footage from the shopping center reveals the chilling scene where the hitmen were seen casually seated at a table, appearing to wait for their target. They displayed no signs of nervousness, even engaging in casual activities like drinking and stretching.
As Sánchez entered the shopping center, heading towards the gym, the hitmen sprang into action, opening fire on him. The attack was swift and brutal, with Sánchez being shot multiple times. Following the initial gunfire, another individual, believed to be an associate of Sánchez, pursued the attackers. In the ensuing chaos, he managed to shoot and wound one of the hitmen.
Ramón Sánchez, identified by authorities as a significant figure within Tren de Aragua, was known by the alias Secuestro. His death has left a mark not only on the criminal underworld but also resulted in collateral damage. An innocent empanada vendor was caught in the crossfire, sustaining a gunshot wound to one of her limbs. She, along with one of the injured attackers, was rushed to a nearby health facility for treatment. The second hitman, also injured, managed to escape but is believed to be in serious condition.
